1. Controller

UNID Solutions GmbH Leonard-Bernstein-Straße 10, 1220 Wien, Austria Email: office@unid-solutions.com Phone: +43 660 476 30 89

We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA, which we use as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the site, the server automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested and browser information. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is stored only as long as necessary for operation and security and is then deleted by Netlify.

According to its own information, Netlify, Inc. participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR).

3. Fonts and libraries

Fonts and program libraries are delivered from our own server. No data is transmitted to third parties in the process.

4. Appointment booking with Calendly

For booking appointments we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, Atlanta, USA) as a processor. The Calendly script is only loaded when you open the booking window. Calendly then processes the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, preferred time) and sets its own cookies. We use this data to prepare and hold the appointment (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

According to its own information, Calendly LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR).

5. Analytics with Hotjar (only with consent)

With your consent we use Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd., Dragonara Business Centre, 5th Floor, Dragonara Road, Paceville, St Julian's STJ 3141, Malta) as a processor to understand how visitors use our website and to improve it. Hotjar creates heatmaps and recordings of sessions (clicks, mouse movements, scrolling, page views) and stores information on your device for this purpose. Text typed into form fields is not captured. Hotjar stores the data in the EU.

Hotjar is only loaded after you have clicked “Accept all” or switched on “Analytics” in the settings (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Hotjar data is deleted after 365 days at the latest.

6. Information stored on your device

Necessary: we store your consent choice (“unid-consent”, 12 months) and your language preference (“unid-lang”) in your browser's local storage. This is technically necessary to respect your choice and display the site in your language (§ 165(3) TKG 2021).

With consent only: Hotjar sets cookies beginning with “_hj” (up to 365 days).

When you open the booking window: Calendly sets its own cookies (see section 4).

7. Contact, venture submissions and applications

If you contact us by email or phone, or send us a venture idea by email, we process your details to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or perform a contract (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep the data as long as necessary for this purpose and in line with statutory retention obligations.

We store application documents for up to seven months after the process ends (time limits under the Austrian Equal Treatment Act) and delete them afterwards unless you have agreed to longer storage.

Links to LinkedIn and Instagram are simple links; no data is transmitted to these platforms unless you click them.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to office@unid-solutions.com.

Right to object: you may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).

You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide data; without it, however, we cannot handle enquiries or appointments. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, www.dsb.gv.at.
